Obituary of Evelyn Allen

ALLEN, Evelyn – Passed away peacefully at Sante Manitouwadge Health Centre on Wednesday September 6, 2023 at the age of 95 years. 

Beloved wife of the late Gordon Allen. Cherished mother of Lavern Stratford (Bruce), Randy Allen (Lola), Judy Tourout (LeRoy) and the late Sharlene Halloran (late Hector). Proud grandmother of numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandsons Tony Halloran and Jensen Togtema. Dear sister of Bill Warren (late Fay) and she was predeceased by her other siblings. Evelyn will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews. 

Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Manitouwadge on Saturday September 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Del Duncalfe officiating. An interment will follow later this month at the Manitouwadge Municipal Cemetery. 

Memorial donations made to Ronald McDonald House or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family. 

Evelyn’s family would like to send a thank you to the amazing Doctors and nursing staff at the Sante Manitouwadge Health Centre for the care they gave to Evelyn for the last several months.
