Obituary of Sheldon Tyance
TYANCE, Sheldon Bryan Ambrose - With profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Sheldon Bryan Ambrose Tyance of Biigtigong Nishnabeg at the age of 52 on July 29, 2023.
Born in Marathon, Ontario on May 26, 1971. Survived by his life partner Jolie Rousselle, his children, Courtney, Sarah (Mark), Hunter, Hope(Tom), Patience (Matty), Skylar, Jazelle, Zavier, Serenity, Destiny & Trinity. Mother & friend of his eldest children Shirley Bedwash Tyance. Brothers Sherman & Frank Tyance. His grandchilden, Ryder, Paislee, MJ, Sutton. Half siblings, Frank & Francine Esquega, Tyler, Michael & Kyle Tyance. Preceded in death by his mother Margaret Rose Tyance.
Sheldon was a proud husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, cousin & friend.
Jokingly referred to as the Jack of all trades master of none, no matter the job & a man of true integrity, Sheldon always took pride in his work.
Having reverence for any career he pursued, his coworkers & friends would describe him as hardworking, joyful & kind, and always willing to go the extra mile to help someone out with a positive attitude. His easy going sense of humour had everyone around him smiling & laughing.
Despite any struggles or challenges, Sheldon had a natural ability to accept things as they come and did his best to act with virtue & humility. He never complained and always did his best when he came learning something new.
From a young age, Sheldon had a passion for drawing & painting and was most known for mastering a unique woodland style, his artwork can be found all throughout the communities of Biigtigong, Marathon & beyond. His most recent passion was carpentry, being self taught his friends would jokingly call him Mr. YouTube.
Sheldon was truly a great man whose impact will forever be felt by the family that loves him dearly. His ability to love, sacrifice, provide, support and forgive will forever be lessons to all he knew.
May we cherish the memories we have and embrace this time of grieving with loved ones near and dear.
