Obituary of Rita Cross

CROSS, Rita – Peacefully joined her Creator on Sunday May 28, 2023 at the age of 62 years.

Loving mother to Charmaine Cross and Carla Cross. Special nanny to Grayson Michano, Brody Pittman-Willoughby and Jenn-Mae Pittman-Willoughby. Adored gramzie to Mikaela Kwandibens, Lesley Cross, Desmond Kwandibens, Zephrin Kwandibens, L.J. "Baby Blue" and Adrien Lavigne. Chosen Godmother to Carrie-Marie Willoughby. Daughter of the late Rodney Desmoulin and the late Catherine Desmoulin (late Harry). Dear sister to Jean Desmoulin, Pauline Moses (Lindsay), Agnes Desmoulin, Edna Fisher (Noel), Anita Desmoulin, Valarie Desmoulin, Daryl Desmoulin (Tove), Jack Desmoulin, Margaret Tyance and Eileen Paola (Frank). Rita will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday June 1, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday June 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Biju Mathew officiating. Cremation will follow at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.
