Obituary of Caroline Ojeebah

OJEEBAH, Caroline “Kooksie” – Peacefully started her journey into the spirit world on Friday, October 21, 2022 at the age of 77 years.

Caroline was predeceased by the father of her children Alfred baa.  Loving mother of Debbie Ojeebah (Victor), Rene “Manny” Ojeebah (Barbara), Darrell “Snookums” baa (September baa), Lisa Ojeebah and Rosanne Ojeebah. Proud grandmother of Robin Ojeebah (Erika), Jeffrey Nakogee (Aynsley baa), Steven Day Nolan, Jordan Naveau (Marc-Andre), Jeremy Naveau (Aiden) and Julia Naveau (Jesse). Great grandmother of Nakoda Rain, Jamaal Macleod-Nakogee baa, Malakai baa, Kashsis baa, Auston, King, Kruz baa, Paris and Lincoln baa. Caroline will be dearly missed by her loving grand-fur baby Jaxy. Loving daughter of Joseph baa and Rose baa Tangie and step-daughter of Joe Picody baa. Dear sister of Alfred “Remus” Tangie baa, Wilfred Tangie baa, Gladys Tangie, Chris “Chickie” Venedam (Peter), Majorie Tangie, Elmer Tangie baa and Lucy Tangie (Raymond). Dear sister-in-law of Evenlyn Wolfe, Doris Ojeebah baa, Nellie Mitchell (George baa), Calvin Ojeebah baa, Rene Ojeebah baa, and her mother-in-law Maria (née Animiki) Saunders baa. She will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit at the family home, 3 Rosie Street, Brunswick House First Nation, Chapleau on Monday October 24, 2022 from 1:00pm until time of the traditional service on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at 12:00p.m. Cremation will follow at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste.
