Obituary of Elmer Timothy George Tangie

TANGIE, Elmer Timothy George – it is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Elmer. Elmer was called to the creator on Saturday January 29, 2022. Elmer was born on March 31, 1968. He leaves behind his mother Gladys Tangie, children Trent Agawa (Tina) and Raven Agawa. As well as his stepchildren Valerie Agawa and Lyndsay Agawa. Elmer was a proud Papa to Darius, River-Rose, Sonny-James, Brennen, Asthon, Raelynn, Jayden, Riley and Rosealee. Elmer will be remembered by his siblings Lorraine and Darren Tangie (Rebecca). Elmer was a proud uncle of Jessica (Wingash, Wasnooday), Rachel (Haven, Avery), Gerald (Missa, Xavier, Harmony, Marena), Jamie-Lynn (Sophie, Hazel, Alexandra), William, Mylina (Mia), Darren Jr., Melissa, Nelson, and Cleis. Elmer will be dearly missed by his special friend Dana Virta. He leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins who he was very proud to have as family. Elmer will also be missed by his many friends. Elmer loved his many fall harvesting trips with his brother, nephews, grandson, or whoever else he could squeeze into his truck. He also loved the Casino and being a handyman who could lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Elmer always enjoyed crossing paths with new people at the Garden River Gas Bar where he worked as a gas attendant. Friends and family are invited to visit at 10 Rosie Street in Chapleau, Ontario on Monday February 7, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Following the funeral service cremation will take place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre in Sault Ste.
