LOKSTET, Erich – Passed away peacefully at the Lady Dunn Health Centre on Thursday July 9, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband of Rosemarie Lokstet (nee Proulx) for nearly 60 years. Amazing and loving father of Karlyne Andersen (Tom) and Craig Lokstet (Sandra Kennell). Proud and adored grandfather of Melissa (nee Scott) Western, Dianna Scott-Sanchioni (Robert), Eric Lokstet (Suzette Berard), Timothy Lokstet (Robin) and Nicholas Lokstet. Great Papa Erich of Jake, Gracie, Sylvia, Alice, Bradley and Ella. Dear son of the late Samuel and Ella (nee Wurch) Lokstet. Dear brother of the late Arvid Lokstet (late Josie), late Harry Lokstet (late Betty-Lou), Linda Gosselin (late Jean-Paul), late Helmut Lokstet (Nancy) and Almeda Clark (Alex). Dear son-in-law of the late Mary and René Proulx. Dear brother-in-law of Elizabeth “Liz” and Doug Woods and the late Catherine Proulx. Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home (140 Churchill Avenue, 705-856-7340) on Saturday July 11, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Mrs. Liz Woods officiating. Cremation will follow. Memorial donations made to the Masonic Lodge or to the Lady Dunn Health Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. The family would like to thank Dr. M. Cotterill, Dr. C. Stamler, Dr. Julie Weinstein, all of the many wonderful nurses at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, the paramedics and the exceptional Assisted Living Services providers for their care.
