Obituary of Fred Hatfield

HATFIELD, Fred – With family by his side at the Toronto General Hospital on Saturday June 20, 2015. Beloved husband and best friend of Mitch Hatfield. Loving and proud father of Derek Hatfield (Aziel), Joy-Lynn (Phil Cook), Shannon (Todd Reynolds) and Ryan Hatfield. A very attentive and involved, super loving “Papa/Grandfather” of Kyla, Joshua, Julia, Hannah, Sydney and Simon. Son of the late Horace and the late Ella (nee Burns) Hatfield. Dear brother of Velma Sutton (Jim), Edward Hatfield (Sandy), Arnold Hatfield, Ken Hatfield (Odesa), late Earl Hatfield (late Lorraine) and Ian Hatfield. Son-in-law of the late Valois and Cecile Blais. Dear brother-in-law of; Ronauld Blais (Lurleen), Constance Boisvert (Gilles), Rachel Rioux (late George), late Yvon Blais (late Mary-Jane), late Richard Blais, Nicole Larcher (Rolly), Gabrielle Cloutier (late Marc), late Robert Blais, Gisele Harvey (Reg) and Maurice Blais(Nicole). Fred will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. As a person who was so in need of an organ donation, he would be so proud of the fact that his eyes were donated to the Trillium Foundation. Fred was a patient of West Park Health Care Centre, Toronto and was so appreciative of this centre in all that they do. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Monica’s Church on Saturday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Ron Henson officiating.
