MORIN, Velma – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the Chapleau Health Services on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the age of 93 years.  Beloved wife of the late Yvon “Shorty” Morin.  Proud mother of Robert (Anne), John (Marita) and Jim.  Loving grandmother of Tim, Mark (Laura), Michael (Nicole), Kristy (Michael), Kimberly (Mike) and Kevin (Patty).  Great grandmother of 15 and great great grandmother of 1.  Daughter of the late Edward and Elizabeth (nee Finlayson) Swanson.  Dear sister of the late Sidney Swanson (late Marie) and Edward Swanson (late Rita, late Jeannine).  Velma will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews.  Family and friends are invited to visit at the Kerry Funeral Home Ltd. “Visitation Centre” (10 Young Street, 1-800-439-4937) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m.  A funeral service will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Reverend Tom Corston officiating.  Interment will take place later in May at the Chapleau Municipal Cemetery.  Memorial donations made to the Chapleau Health Services Foundation or to the St. John’s Anglican Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.  www.kerryfuneralhome.ca
