Obituary of Elma Ruby Serre

SERRE, Elma Ruby – Passed away peacefully at the Bignucolo Residence on Monday June 26, 2017 at the age of 81 years.  Predeceased by her common-law husband Philip Richardson.  Dear sister of Hazel McCloskey (late Darrell), Ethel Wilson (late Karl), Carol O’Donnell (Gilbert), the late Wilfred Pond (Christel) and Merlin Pond (late Esther).  Elma will be remembered fondly by her “Chapleau family”, Gisele and Steven Pintar and their family, Rita Poulin and by her many nieces and nephews.  At Elma’s request, there will be no services.  Cremation will take place at River’s Edge Cremation Centre, Sault Ste. Marie.  Elma’s remains will be laid to rest in her family plot in New Brunswick.  The “Chapleau Family” would like to thank the Doctors, nurses, and staff of the Bignucolo Residence for their care of Elma while she was in their care.  If so desired, memorial donations made to the Lung Association or to the Chapleau Health Centre “Activation Department” would be appreciated by the family.  Arrangements entrusted to the P.M.
