I will miss my dear friend Lulu all my days and wish so much I could be there to hug you all and try to share your grief. She was a kind, giving and loving woman, and you, her family, are all a testimony of that – all of whom she loved with such gentleness and unwavering devotion. You know better than anyone that is how she approached everything. And her unwavering championship of animal rights clearly demonstrated the depths of her loving kindness. John and I were so lucky to have been able to spend some time with her and Mitch last September, and I can still hear her and see her when I close my eyes. I know I will never lose those memories, so many laughs, gardening, walking club, aerobics, so much giggling, and always sage advice, as she touched my life so very deeply. We wanted so very badly to attend her farewell service – but could not. I know her adored family will be surrounded with love from other friends and relatives - as is always the way with Manitouwadge. I hope these words in some small way bring comfort. Good bye my dear Lulu, I hope I will have the honour of meeting you again on the other side some day.
