Obituary of Colin Scott Desmoulin
Please share a memory of Colin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
DESMOULIN, Colin Scott – “Colin’s traditional native name is Little White Bear” - It is with great sorrow that we regretfully announce the passing of Colin, tragically as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Monday November 14, 2016 at the age of 17 years. Colin was welcomed into heaven by his grandfather Basil Desmoulin, who passed away the day before Colin was called to heaven. Beloved son of Sandra and Barry Desmoulin. Loving big brother of Ethan and Carter. Adored grandson of Nancy Desmoulin (late Basil) and Deanie McKenzie (Gary) and Boyd Keown. Cherished nephew of Karen Richard (Gilles), Clint Keown (Jodi), Cheryl Keown (Gary Foy), Susan Nabigon (Chris), Jennifer Cooke (Clyde), Carol Twance (Keith), Donalda Gagne (Michel), Mary Ann Starr (Tom) and Amanda Desmoulin (Abe Michano). Colin will be sadly missed by his very special Godparents and their family, the Cooke’s. He will be lovingly remembered by his cousins, many friends and especially by the St. Mary Knights hockey family. Friends may visit at the Biigtigong Nishnaabeg/Pic River Community Centre from Friday November 18, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. until Saturday November 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass for Colin and Basil will then take place at Holy Saviour Church, Marathon at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Lawrence Susai officiating. (Arrangements entrusted to the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home, Wawa, 1-800-439-4937). www.gilmartinfuneralhome.ca
