Obituary of Marcel Leonard Parisee

PARISEE, Marcel - Big Bear aka Uncle Bear, aka The Bear, aka Papa, called Marcel Parisee by his parents and select others, passed away suddenly on Monday August 15, 2016 at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa. Bear loved so many people, especially his wife Theresa (Teri) Story, his children Marc (Kayla) and Sarah (Matt) and adored his grandchildren Lucas & Sophia. He was loved and will be missed by his many siblings, extended family and friends. Having moved to White River from Franz in his early teens, Bear lived out the remainder of his 57 years in White River. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, sports enthusiast, hockey being number one: playing or watching. He loved being with people and seeing others . He worked the past 30 years for CP Rail and was eagerly looking forward to retirement to spend more time with family & friends, especially a trip out west to visit Marc and watching Lucas play hockey. A Farewell Service will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, White River on Sunday August 21 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Brian Lachine officiating. A luncheon and time of fellowship will follow. We suggest you sport your favourite sporting attire, hunting clothes, team jersey, and whatnot in honour of his love for these activities.
