HAMILTON, Stan – “God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he wrapped his arms around you and whispered “Come to Me”. Stan passed away peacefully at his home with his family and friends by his side on Sunday July 10, 2016. Beloved husband of Kathy. Proud and adored father of Jason (Paulette) and Steven. Loving grandfather of Jeremy and Danielle. Great grandfather of Natalie, Emma and Henry. Dear brother of Joyce, late Peggy, late Jackie, Nonie, Pat, Tom. Stan will be lovingly remembered by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Friends are invited to visit at the P.M. Gilmartin Funeral Home (140 Churchill Avenue, Wawa) on Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday July 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Nancy Broderick’s home in Englehart, Ontario. In lieu of flowers and food memorial donations made to the Lady Dunn Health Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family. Stan’s family would like to thank Dr. Julie Weinstein, Cassandra, Carmella, and Stan’s family and friends for all of their help for caring for Stan with their caring hearts and helpful hands. www.gilmartinfuneralhome.ca
